Natural treatment for Candida, fungusis a fungal disease which affects many parts of the body. Babies and the elderly are prone to candida in the mouth.

Cause:
Generally, candida is caused by candida bacteria that resides on the skin or in the intestinal tract.

Symptoms:

Discharge.
Itching and burning in the affected areas.
Infection in the mouth causes - white patches on the gums, lips and inside the cheeks.

Avoid sugar and refined carbohydrates and foods which contain yeast. Eat plenty of live yogurt and try supplements of acidophilus. Vitamin E and garlic may be helpful.

Note: In women, the continued use of contraceptives can result in re-occurring thrush.
