CONTROLS FUNGAL DISEASE & PATHOGENIC
FUNGI IN LAWNS, TURF, GRASS, TREES,
ORNAMENTALS & AGRICULTURAL CROPS

INTRODUCTION:
Fungal diseases are often spread by zoospores that are transported from one plant to another and from lawn to lawn or field to field. EC-888 is a biological fungus control for the prevention and control of plant pathogenic fungi on lawns, turf grass and horticultural and agricultural crops. EC-888 destroys zoospores, that cause fungal disease, on contact.

Active Ingredient: Rhamnolipid Biosurfactant

EC-888 is safe for use on the foliage, fruit and roots of the following agricultural commodities, lawn grass and agricultural and horticultural crops:

ROOT & TUBER VEGETABLES - beet, potato, radish, sweet potato and yam

FRUITING VEGETABLES - eggplant, pepper and tomato

CUCURBIT VEGETABLES - cantaloupe, cucumber, melon, squash, watermelon and zucchini

CITRUS FRUIT - lemon, grapefruit and orange

MISC FRUIT & VEGETABLES - avocado, grape, and strawberry

ORNAMENTAL PLANTS - begonia, chrysanthemum, cyclamen, dahlia, ferns, foliage plants, fuschia, ivy, lily, miniature roses, orchid, peony, phlox, poinsettia, pyracantha, and rhododendron.

ORNAMENTAL TREES & SHRUBS - azalea, birch, blue spruce, bogainvilla, boxwood, camellia, cedar, cherry, crabapple, cyprus, dogwood,  elm, ficus, fir,  forsythia, gardenia hackberry, holly,  hydrangea, laurel, lilac, magnolia, maple, myrtle, peach, pines, poplar, privet, spruce, sycamore.

BEDDING PLANTS - aster, calendula, carnation, cosmos, impatiens, lobelia, marigold, nasturtium, pansy, petunia, snapdragon, sweet alyssum,  verbena, and  zinnia.

TURF GRASS - Bentgrass, Bermuda grass, bluegrass, centipede grass, fescue, ryegrass, St. Augustine,  wheatgrass, etc.

TARGET PESTS are any zoosporic plant pathogenic microorganisms including the following genera: Plasmodiophora, Polymyxa, Spongospora, Physoderma, Olpidium, Synchytrium, Rhizophydium, Achlya, Aphanomyces, Albugo, Peronopythora, Pachymetra, Pythium, Phytophthora, Trachysphaera, Basidiophora, Peronosclerospora, Plasmopara, Pseudoperonospora, Sclerophthora, and Sclerospora.

DILUTION RATE
1 oz. / 8 gallons water (85 PPM)

MIXING INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1: Fill tank with half the recommended water
Step 2: Add EC-888 and agitate
Step 2: Add remaining water and thoroughly agitate

NOTE Continued agitating is NOT necessary - Diluted solution should be used within 24 hours.

APPLICATION METHODS
EC-888 can be applied in spray, fog or drench using conventional equipment.

LAWN CARE
Dilute at a rate of 1 oz. / 8 gallons water
Apply at a rate of  5 to 8 gallons/1000 square feet or spot spray as required.

GARDENS
Dilute at a rate of 1 oz. / 8 gallons water
Apply in a fog or spray at a rate of  8 gallons/1000 square feet or spot spray as required. For drench or root applications, increase application rate to 12 gallons/1000 square feet.  Application rates may vary depending on plant density and soil conditions.

FIELD CROPS, TREES
For spray or fog applications, apply at a rate of 100 gallons / acre.
For drench or root applications, increase application rate to 150 gallons/acre.
Application rates may vary depending on plant density and soil conditions.

For "initial control", apply at the early stages of plant growth.
For "preventative control", apply as required during growth period.

NOTE
EC-888 can be incorporated into nutrient solutions i.e. CB-RSG, CB-FVR, Humic Plus etc. for hydroponic plants and vegetables and as a seed soak or dip. Final concentration of 85 PPM must be maintained.

NOTE:
Early treatment prevents diseases from developing. Thorough coverage is necessary for disease control. To optimize control, apply when the risk of fungal disease is high.
It is preferable to increase the frequency of applications rather than the concentration of solution. Application interval and rate may vary depending upon plant density, soil and environmental conditions and results required.

STORAGE AND HANDLING
Store in original container, in a dry, cool place out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources.  Keep from overheating or freezing. Do not contaminate water, food or feed by storage or disposal.
